Staff of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital have staged a march in solidarity with their fellow members who have been given query letters by the Hospital’s management over their vote of no confidence in the management.
The staff, sporting red arm and head bands, carried a banner bearing the message: “No amount of intimidation, harassment and victimisation can stop the truth.”
The banner also has an inscription that pleads with President John Mahama to “save Korle Bu now.”
Another statement on the banner says: “Dr Buckle is a non-performer, he must go.”
The agitated staff will present their grievances to the hospital's management.
Earlier this month, the senior staff passed the vote of no confidence in the Chief Executive and Board Chairman.
Out of the 2000 senior staff members, 1500 of them voted Wednesday December 9, 2015, to kick out Dr Buckle and Dr Anthony Mawuli Sallar.
The staff want the two to step down for allegedly mismanaging the facility.
